Scrypt Scan (Beta)

We’re currently Beta testing Scrypt.

We have developed Scrypt Scan, an easy-to-use, powerful desktop application that enables you to securely scan documents.

Our desktop scanning application, designed for Windows operating system, is currently only available for our own Scanning Teams and enterprise-level customers. It provides a fast and robust scanning regime for patient records and documents that can be used offline (without internet connectivity) or online (with internet connectivity).

This application is currently in Beta. When we launch, we will provide you with a self-install desktop application for Windows that is pre-configured with your Scrypt account details. This application works with all the major scanners with ISIS drivers, and specifically with HP, Kodak and Fujitsu.

For document security, the scanned documents are encrypted on the local machine (Desktop or Laptop) and then uploaded to the Scrypt Repository as soon as connectivity is available. Once the documents have been verified as uploaded safely they are then automatically removed from the local machine. This eliminates the risk of a breach if the PC or laptop was accidently lost or stolen.
